Heesen Yachts has announced the sale of the 55-metre in-build superyacht Project Venus. The yacht sold with Rupert Connor from Luxury Yacht Group representing the buyer, who is a distinguished yacht connoisseur and a former client of Heesen The delivery of YN 20655, Project Venus is scheduled for Q2 2025.
latest in popular 55-metre Steel series
Project Venus is the latest in our popular 55-metre Steel series. Frank Laupman of Omega Architects has designed her an elegant and muscular profile and recently re-styled the exterior look to add a contemporary touch. Horizontal lines emphasise the optical length of the yacht and continuous sheets of tinted glass on the main and upper deck give Project Venus a whole new appeal. The French balcony in the owners’ apartment is a nook where they can enjoy the outdoors away from the rest of the guests.
Large enough to offer plenty of outdoor and indoor areas for relaxing, socializing and enjoying life on board, but not too big to access the charming harbours of the Mediterranean.
First impression
Project Venus is packed with all the latest features and design innovations.
The superstructure is adorned with a “shark tooth”, which is a smart design signature on the overhang of the wheelhouse that lends a powerful personality. The clean and svelte design required the removal of fashion plates; for example, the superstructure aft is completely free from pillars offering uninterrupted ocean vistas.
Design feature
This design feature significantly improves the indoor/outdoor connection and offers unsurpassed views of the sea from virtually every location on board, even when seated in the sky lounge. In the restyle, we even eliminated the window mullions in the main deck dining and sky lounge to afford an even stronger connection with the exterior surroundings.
The beauty of Venus
The beauty of Venus also lies below the waterline. Thanks to her ultra-performing Fast Displacement hull in combination with two compact Two MTU4000 M63 (IMO Tier III), she will reach a top speed of 15,5 knots.
Step aboard.
The layout is another attraction of Project Venus. With four guest cabins on the lower deck, the master stateroom on the main deck and a VIP suite on the bridge deck. This is a boon for clients interested in charter, but also Middle Eastern clients who like to have a lot of cabins.
