Peters & May, a UK-based group active globally in the shipping and logistics sector, has announced the establishment of a joint venture starting from 6 July with Bati Yacht Transport, a subsidiary of the Bati Group, based central in Turkey, which operates with its own division in the transport of yachts.
Shipping global solutions
The two companies are historic companies; the former currently occupies ten offices in Europe, Asia and the United States, and the latter, operating in various sectors, from maritime and air transport to isotanks and perishable goods,
In its yacht division offers global solutions for their shipping including lashing and tie-down, towing, diving, jumping services and customs clearance.
Integrate the two companies
The strategic investment will integrate Bati Yacht Transport into the Peters & May Group, of which it has been a trusted partner for years, marking a significant step in enhancing Peters & May’s yacht transport offering in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Bati Yacht Transport has also been formally appointed as the exclusive agent of Peters & May Limited in Türkiye.
Many projects
Satisfaction and enthusiasm were expressed by the leaders of both entities for having made this initiative a reality. Stefano Grotti, regional manager for Europe at Peters & May, commented that after having worked together on many projects he sees this integration as natural and brings benefits to everyone.
Greater market penetration
The comment by Kaan Aydin, general director of the Bati Group, was of the same tone, underlining the dedication to excellence in the door-to-door transport of yachts that share the two realities and which also – he said – will allow us to improve the offer and the value of customer services, strengthening presence in the Eastern Mediterranean and beyond.
The joint venture, concludes the note, will allow both companies to combine their strengths, achieve greater market penetration, especially in Turkey, and increase customer satisfaction.
