Appointment of Martin Hestnes for new Offshore Subsea & Projects

SSY, the world’s largest independent shipbroker has today announced the senior appointment of Martin Hestnes, to the newly created role of Offshore Subsea and Projects Manager, effective from 1st September 2024.

Specialised experience

With eighteen years’ specialised experience, Hestnes has built an impressive career, having held a number of senior managerial roles within the Offshore vessel industry.

Boa Offshore

Having started his career at Boa Offshore, Hestnes then spent seven years at Gibson Shipbrokers in London where he held the Head of Offshore position, before moving to Fearnley Offshore Supply where he served as Managing Partner and board member during his nine years at the brokerage.

Subsea space

Based in Dubai, Hestnes will work alongside Head of Offshore, Frank Holck and the wider team to further expand SSY’s presence in the Subsea space.

Job so interesting
