Capt. Fekry is a Master Mariner and has nearly 47 years of experience in the shipping industry. He was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors in Feb. 2014 after having served 3 years as Managing Director of Red Sea Marine Management DMCC (RSMM) in Dubai, one of Bihar International Co. Ltd.’s companies (formerly known as Bakri Group of Companies), which is Saudi-based and involved in shipping, marine-related activities and energy trading. He Served with the company 7 Years before resigning in 2018 to be Managing Director of own company MC Ship Management in UAE & Misr Ship Management in Egypt.

Global Manager Ship Vetting
Prior to that, Gamal was Global Manager Ship Vetting, then Manager Vetting and Clearance at British Petroleum Shipping in London. He served with BP for 11 years during which he was the Regional Manager for Marine Assurance (Middle East) where he was seconded to The Supreme Petroleum Council of Abu Dhabi as a Marine Manager, where he set up and established the ADNOC Vetting System. Before joining BP Shipping he was with Kuwait Oil Tanker Company – the Government of Kuwait owned company, for 24 years. He progressed with KOTC from Cadet to Fleet Manager for the LPG and Products Fleet.
♦2018 – Date – Managing Director and founder of MC Ship Management in UAE and Misr Ship Management in Egypt.
♦ 2013– 2018 – Chief Executive Officer for Red Sea Marine Management, Dubai. Managing technically , commercially and crewing of a diverse modern fleet of Chemical type II, LPG and products tankers.
♦2011 – 2013 – Managing Director of Red Sea Marine Services – Cyprus, a Saudi owned company managed from Jeddah and Fujairah, then established in Dubai, taking over a fleet of various LPG and tankers from Nordic Maritime Service to manage the fleet from Dubai.
♦2001 to 2011 – Joined BP Shipping as a Vetting Superintendent, then as Senior Design Superintendent & LPG Project Coordinator, a Regional Marine Assurance Manager for Middle East based in Abu Dhabi.

Promoted to Superintendent Fleet Personnel/Training in 1992; established a national cadre training department – Superintendent Cadets Training. Promoted to Superintendent Fleet Operations (LPG & Products) and Crude Promoted to Fleet Manager for the LPG and Products Fleet, usually 18 vessels but managed the entire fleet of 46.
