Revenues, profits and passengers on board at historic highs for the US cruise group that controls Costa Crociere

Record revenues close to 6 billion in the last financial quarter of the Carnival Corporation group.

Reporting the results for the September-November period of this year, the US cruise major highlighted the turnover of 5.94 billion dollars, which represents not only an increase of 10% on the same period of 2023, but also the highest collection obtained historically in this period of the year.

A record both for revenues generated by cruise sales alone, which amounted to 3.85 billion (+9.8%), and for revenues generated by sales on board ships, which amounted to 2.08 billion (+10.5%).

Operating profit also rose by +82.8% to an all-time high of 3.57 billion. Net profit was 1.92 billion compared to a net loss of -74 million dollars in the annual financial year 2023. A record was also set by the number of passengers embarked in the financial year 2024 on the group’s ships, which amounted to 13.5 million units (+9%).
