The scene was filmed
The scene was filmed by one of the passengers on board the Royal Caribbean cruise ship, one of the largest in the world, which was moored at the time of the collision. In the images you can see the pleasure boat getting closer and closer to the cruise ship.
It was unclear what was happening with the yacht, which appeared to be angled directly towards the ship, with at least one crew member walking on deck who realized an impact was now imminent.

The Allure of the Seas is 362 meters long and has 18 decks; it can carry up to 6,800 passengers and over 2 thousand crew members. After the initial impact, the yacht is seen approaching the cruise ship.
The Collision
The next contact occurs when the yacht’s mast hits the protruding lifeboats. As the yacht passes, the upper part of the mast and one of the radar domes are knocked down and are dangling backwards. A passenger is heard calling the yacht’s crew: “Are you okay?”
The ship’s captain informed that the departure from Nassau could be delayed, as the cruise ship had to carry out an inspection which did not report serious damage, allowing it to cast off the moorings.
