Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued Resolution No. 327 for year 2024, extending service of Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Board of Directors of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Osama Rabie for a period of one year starting Monday August 12, 2024.
Article 1 of Decree No. 426 of 2025 stipulates that the service of Admiral Osama Mounir Mohamed Rabie, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Suez Canal Authority ( SCA ) and Managing Director, shall be extended for one year, starting from August 12, 2025.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi also issued Decree No. 427 of 2025, renewing the appointment of Walid Mohamed Sami Mohamed Gamal El-Din as Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone with the rank of Minister.
ِAdmiral Osama Rabie played a pivotal role in leading the Suez Canal Authority during its difficult times, whether during the Ever Given crisis, during Covid-19, or finally the Red Sea crisis. He successfully overcame the crisis with numerous new services and huge achievements.
