Francesco Beltrano : A new general secretary of Uniport -Italy

The port terminal association of Conftrasporto draws on Confitarma for the role played by Ferrandino up to now

Uniport, the association adhering to Conftrasporto that represents terminal operators and companies operating in the port sector, has announced the hiring of Francesco Beltrano as the new general secretary.

Represents terminal operators

Francesco Beltrano is the new secretary general of Uniport, the association that represents terminal operators and companies that operate in the port area. Beltrano, born in Rome in 1973, is graduated in Political Science and attended the first edition of the course in “Transport, Logistics and Infrastructure” at SDA Bocconi in Milan.

He joined Uniport last year January after a long experience gained in the associative world of the maritime transport started in 2000 and during which the also closely concerned with port issues.

The growth project

During the nineties, with the reforms that affected the Italian port system, the Association also changed its nature with the adhesion of more structured companies from a productive point of view as well as those constituted by the Port Companies, called Compagnie Imprese, whose structure and activities are characterized by strong entrepreneurial components.
