Finnish shipyard Meyer Turku has launched Legend of the Seas, the third ship in the Icon series ordered by Royal Caribbean and expected to debut in summer 2026
The ship will offer Mediterranean itineraries departing from Barcelona, ​​before moving to the Caribbean and the United States in the winter from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.This giant of the seas will have a capacity of up to 7,600 passengers, a gross tonnage of nearly 250,000 tons, and will be powered by liquefied natural gas.Just as Legend will now begin its fitting-out phase, the dry dock awaits the keel laying of the fourth Icon-class ship.
