DynaLiners reports that the port of Sihanoukville, Cambodia, has opened a new 450,000 TEU container berth.
The new berth, which is 10.4 meters deep and 253 meters long, cost $37.5 million to build.
One million TEUs of cargo may now be handled at the port of Sihanoukville. The port is building a new deep-water container terminal to increase its capacity even more.
By 2029, the future terminal—which will be built in three stages—should be able to handle an additional 1.5 million TEUs.
