Astoria Grande cruise ship arrived at Alexandria Port carrying tourists of different nationalities,, as part of its tour of the Mediterranean ports.
The ship, which flies the flag of the Republic of Palau, docked at the docks of the marine passenger terminal coming from the port of Kusadasi in Turkey, and is scheduled to continue its tourist trip to Izmir, Turkey.
Reception for the ship
Alexandria Port, in coordination with the Regional Tourism Promotion Authority, organized a reception for the ship, which included a number of artistic and folkloric performances that were admired by tourists, who interacted with them by dancing, singing songs, and taking souvenir photos.
Admiral Ahmed Hawash, Chairman of the Alexandria Port Authority, said that the procedures for the arrival of tourists were completed in a few minutes and they headed to visit the tourist attractions and landmarks in Alexandria.
The cruise ship was received by Admiral Hisham Safwat, Vice President of the Alexandria Port Authority for Operations,.Captain Mohamed Safwat, Head of the Central Administration for Containers, Admirall Essam Farouk, Head of the Central Administration for Movement Abdel Wahab Mohamed, Director General of the Ministry of Tourism Office in Alexandria, and Amal Al-Argawy, Director General of the General Authority for Tourism Promotion Offices in Alexandria.
