Suez Canal : The transit of the container ship CMA CGM ZEPHYR

This is the tenth calls of container ships returning to transit through the Suez Canal after the approval of attractive incentives and discounts.

Suez Canal Authority continues to provide its navigation services and is taking all necessary measures to maintain regular navigation through the Canal despite the tensions in the Red Sea region.

Navigation through the Suez Canal witnessed the transit of the container ship CMA CGM ZEPHYR as part of the southern convoy through the new waterway. The ship was traveling from Singapore and headed to the port of Alexandria.

This call is the tenth Calls of container ships to transit the Suez Canal, following the success of the incentives and flexible marketing policies recently adopted by SCA to attract container ships to transit the canal again. Circular No. (3/2025) grants a 15% discount to container ships with a net tonnage exceeding 130,000 tons, whether loaded or empty, for a period of three months from the date of the circular’s implementation.
