From  today March 18 to 21, Panama will once again host the prestigious LIFE Program, an initiative focused on developing female leadership in the maritime and port sectors. The third edition will bring together leading professionals from Latin America to provide them with key tools in strategic leadership, effective communication, emotional intelligence, and resilience

Organized by PR PORTS and Multimodal, with the support of multiple leading institutions and companies in the sector, LIFE has already trained more than a hundred professionals, driving significant changes in their careers and in the industry

For four days, participants will attend keynote lectures and practical workshops led by renowned international experts such as Beatriz Tórrez Ticona (CEO of Elemental Logistics), Lisbeth Thomas (Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager at APM Terminals Costa Rica), María Eugenia Ávila de Brizuela (Executive Coach at INCAE), and Cibeles de Freitas (CEO at PR5).

In addition to the training activities, LIFE includes technical visits to SSA Marine MIT and the Panama Canal locks, as well as exclusive meetings with prominent industry leaders such as Julio de la Lastra (President & CEO of ONE Panama), Antonio Domínguez (President for Latin America at A.P. Moller Maersk), Miguel Garín (Director of International Development at Fundación Valenciaport) and Juan Carlos Croston (Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at SSA Marine MIT), who will share their experiences and strategic vision with attendees.

The #EllasInspiran Webinar will be another strong point of the program, with the participation of renowned professionals such as Gisel Gaitán (Commercial Manager of Hutchison Ports PPC – Panama), Sonia Dauksis (CEO of DB Ports – Mexico), Evelyn Leiva (CSR and Sustainability Manager at OPC – Honduras) and Jimena López (President of the Quequén Port Management Consortium – Argentina), and the moderation of Carlos José González España, Managing Partner of Multimodal.
