The new specially created company includes Alpe Adria, Autamarocchi, Samer and Zenatek
The Turci Law Firm is the legal partner that assisted Med Roll Shipping and Logistics S.r.l. for the start-up, thanks to the support of the partners (Alpe Adria, Autamarocchi, Samer, and Zenatek) and the collaboration with leading international operators (including primarily the Danish shipping group( DFDS) of the new Ro-Ro transport line between the ports of Damietta in Egypt and Trieste in Italy.
“Med-Roll’s industrial plan envisages the integration of this maritime line into a broader plan of multimodal transport services, mainly by rail, capable of allowing goods to reach, without interruption, Northern Europe, including United Kingdom” reads a note.
Which then concludes by specifying that “Med-Roll was assisted, for all aspects of the operation (from the incorporation and corporate governance, to the negotiation of contracts with commercial partners, suppliers and customers) by the Turci Law Firm, with a team composed of partner Marco Turci, by Prof. Luca Calzolari and Matteo Turci.
In Egypt, at the port of Damietta, the line’s inauguration ceremony was held, attended by the highest local institutional officials. As is known, the project, sanctioned by the signing of a bilateral agreement between Italy and Egypt last January,
It will allow goods to be transported between the two countries in approximately 60 hours, thanks to the use of blockchain technology and the digitization of customs documents , in a broader framework of cooperation between customs and central authorities. This new sea bridge is designed above all to encourage the trade of fresh, perishable and frozen agricultural products.
The governments of Italy and Egypt have in fact strongly supported the implementation of this project as part of the cooperation and strategic partnership launched with the Mattei Plan for Africa Shipping Italy reported
