During its elective assembly of WIST Italy, held on the sidelines of the conference ‘Humanity and innovation: navigating towards the future’ which celebrated its first 30 years of age, the association renewed its management positions for the period 2024-2026.

The new Board of Directors will be made up of Costanza Musso, CEO of the Grendi group, in the role of president. Gabriella Reccia, General Counsel, head of the Nova Marine shipping group’s legal office, will remain as vice-presidency,
While Caterina Cerrini, project and development manager of the Fondazione Accademia Italiana della Marina Mercantile and Elena Piga, Regional Sales Manager of Stolt Tank Container, will share the role of Contact Person.
Cinzia Borghi, CEO of Mistral Marine Solutions, will be entrusted with Communication, while Manuela Indaco, Sole Director of A.Perez & C.snc, will cover the role of Treasurer.
The team, explains a note, will divide the management work “in a co-leadership logic successfully tested in the last two years”.
Reduction of gender differences in leadership
Reduction of gender differences in leadership at the helm of the maritime, commercial and logistics sectors, strengthening of networking among the association’s members (around 100 in Italy and over 5,200 globally in 62 countries), strengthening of links with other institutions and organizations global players in the sector, including IMO and BIMCO are the directors that will guide the association’s activity also in the next two years.
On this occasion
On this occasion, the assembly also expressed heartfelt thanks for the activity carried out and the contribution offered by the outgoing councilors Lucia Nappi and Barbara Pozzolo, the latter of whom has been on the board for many years.
