CMA CGM expands Mediterranean network with new services

CMA CGM – Short Sea Lines Division has announced the launch or restructuring ofnew key services in the Mediterranean region, effective from week 7. These enhancements aim to improve connectivity and facilitate trade between Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

ALGAD service : CMA CGM – Short Sea Lines Division is pleased to share the new setup of its Intramed service ALGAD, as from WEEK 7.

This weekly service, starting in Malta on February 14th, 2025, will be dedicated to Djen Djen market with worldwide connections in Malta hub and Barcelona.

It will establish a sustainable maritime link to Djen Djen.ALGAD

Fleet: 3 vessels x 1,100 TEU nom.

Rotation: Malta – Barcelona – Djen Djen – Malta

Frequency: Weekly

MPS bis– Short Sea Lines Division is pleased to announce reshuffling of its Intramed service MPS by early March 2025.

This weekly service, starting in Salerno WB in Week 10, will serve the Mediterranean market by offering a sustainable maritime bridge between East Med and West Med / Morocco / Portugal. MPS bis

CMA CGM to launch EGAL, its service linking Egypt, Greece, Malta & Algeria

EGAL – Short Sea Lines Division is pleased to announce the launch of EGAL, its new Intramed service, as from WEEK 7.

This weekly service, starting in Alexandria on February 12th, 2025, will be offering direct connection from Egypt to Greece and Algeria and will allow worldwide connections from Egypt in Malta and Piraeus hubs.

It will establish a sustainable maritime link between East Mediterranean region and Annaba, and fast connection between Egypt and Greece.EGAL
