Svitzer announced the appointment of Eduardo Beser as Managing Director for Svitzer Brazil. With more than 30 years of experience in the shipping industry, Eduardo will lead our operations in Brazil, focusing on strengthening service delivery, supporting our customers, and driving continued growth in this key market. “This appointment reflects our strong commitment to Brazil as a strategic market within the Americas region, and the focus we continue to have on growing our presence there to the benefit of current and future clients,” Svitzer’s Managing Director Americas, Daniel Reedtz Cohen, said.

A seasoned professional, Eduardo Beser holds an MSc in Engineering and an MBA, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the shipping industry across commercial, operational, and executive leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has focused on building strong teams, driving performance, and fostering long-term partnerships. Eduardo Beser succeeds Daniel Reedtz Cohen, who now serves as the Managing Director for Svitzer Americas, based in Panama City
At the same time, Svitzer announces the appointment of Anne Daugaard as Chief People Officer (CPO), joining Svitzer’s Executive Leadership Team. Anne will lead the global People & Culture organisation supporting 4,000 seafaring and shoreside colleagues around the world, and she brings extensive experience from a range of complex industries and sectors, including maritime and engineering, most recently from COWI.
