Providing Port Facility Security Officers with Designated Security Duties, specifically Port Facility Security Guards, with the necessary knowledge to perform their duties in accordance with the requirements of Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS & ISPS Code
II/ ISPS Code-Port Facility Security officer-PFSO (course & Workshop):

Aim of the Course :
Equiping participants with the required knowledge for Port Facility Security Officers to perform their duties in compliance with Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS & ISPS Code
III/ Self-Assessment and Audit Workshop (SATW):
Course duration: 5 days: 30 hours
Aim of the Course :
Supplying participants with the skills and knowledge needed to conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of ISPS Code implementation within a port facility, using IMO MSC Circular 1192 on “Guidance on Voluntary Self-Assessment by SOLAS Contracting Governments and by Port Facilities.
IV/ ISPS code and port security awareness: Course duration: 5 days: 30 hours
Aim of the Course :
Providing all Port Facility personnel with the knowledge needed to recognize security threats and understand the measures and procedures in place to ensure the security of the port facility and moored ships, in accordance with Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS & ISPS Code
V/ ISPS CODE training of trainers -ToT:
Course duration: 5 days: 30 hours
Aim of the Course :
Equipping Port Facility Security Officers (PFSOs) and/or Designated Authorities (DAs) with the knowledge to:
• Become trainers in Port Security/ISPS Code
• Conduct security exercises and drills for port facility security staff.
• Communication skills Enhancement
• Workshops animation tools and methods
VI/ The development of national maritime security legislation Workshop: Course duration: 5 days: 30 hours
Aim of the Course :
Assisting maritime administrations in developing a national framework and legislation for port and ship security, using guidance from the Convention, parts A and B of the ISPS Code, the 2021 "Guide to Maritime Security and the ISPS Code," and related IMO resolutions and circulars.
VII/Port supply chain security Course duration: 4 days: 24 hours
Aim of the Course :
Equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage and enhance security across port supply chains, addressing risks, regulations, and emerging threats.

Nouhed is an experienced port security consultant with valuable experience in Africa and the Middle East. She specializes in IMO IMSAS consulting, ISPS Code implementation, auditing, and security risk assessments, focusing on modernizing maritime administration in line with international conventions. Her credentials include certifications from renowned organizations such as IMO, IMSSEA, IPER, APEC, EMSA, IAEA, UNDSS, DFT, ITICILO, and CCSI, as well as a master’s degree in maritime affairs from the Naval Academy. She is also a lead auditor for ISO 9001, a lead implementer for ISO 28000 (supply chain security), and a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) professional.
As a certified professional trainer in maritime and port security, Nouhed tailors her training courses using Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle and McCarthy’s 4MAT system.
These techniques are particularly effective for animating workshops, ensuring engaging and interactive learning experiences that cater to various learning styles.
Additionally, Nouhed incorporates Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) into her training, empowering HR teams and seafarers to confidently navigate complex maritime environments while ensuring safety and optimal performance.
