 Suez Canal Authority  ( SCA ) is participating in the 33rd Monaco Yacht Show, scheduled to be held from September 25-28, 2024 at Port Hercule in Monaco

National strategy

It is noteworthy that is one of the most prominent international events for yacht tourism and an international forum for industry specialists, within the framework of the national strategy to transform Egypt into an international center for yacht tourism in the Middle East region.

During its participation in the Monaco Yacht Show, the Suez Canal Authority is working to promote efforts to exploit its unique location to provide a leading international model in yacht tourism in light of the unprecedented boom it is witnessing, especially in the Mediterranean region, which is characterized by being one of the most attractive marine areas for yachts in the world

Which prompted the Suez Canal to adopt an effective strategy to improve the experience of yacht transit and berthing at the marinas affiliated with the three canal cities and to provide a diverse package of high-quality services that meet all the needs of its customers from international yachts.

The Suez Canal is working on implementing a comprehensive development plan for yacht marinas in conjunction with the efforts of all concerned national institutions to place Egypt in a prominent position on the global yacht tourism map.

3 international marinas

SCA is moving forward to develop 3 international marinas in the cities of Ismailia, Port Said and Suez that can accommodate all types of yachts of different capacities and sizes.

SCA has actually completed the development of the first model marina for yacht tourism in Egypt in Ismailia with a capacity of more than 100 yachts, which are provided with basic services such as maintenance, refueling, and others, which helps yachts complete their trips.

Digital platform

Suez Canal has also succeeded in developing a digital platform and an electronic application for mobile phones that features a modern interface and provides a distinguished package of services for yachts, including electronic reservation services and electronic services for determining canal crossing fees and docking at the marina,

Project of  the yacht industry

Which contributes to achieving the benefit of modern technology in accelerating the pace of work and saving time and effort.

At the same time, the Suez Canal has taken serious steps in the project of localizing the yacht industry in Egypt, by launching the Egypt-Yacht Company in partnership with the South Red Sea Shipyard Company,
