Benghazi hosts the third session of the TransLogisti Libia Exhibition, which is an exhibition specialized in the fields of transport and logistics services.the fields of transport and logistics services.from 25-27 August  organized by Benghazi Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture

The first session

The exhibition is organized by Libya Logistics Company for Organizing Exhibitions. The first session was organized at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds during the period from July 19 to 21, 2022.

The second session

The second session was held at the Misurata Grand Exhibition Grounds during the period from May 1-31, 2023, with the participation of many local and international companies specialized in the field of transportation and logistics.

Workshop “Maritime Trade

On the other hand, the workshop that was held at the Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli, Libya, concluded on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, over two days in cooperation between the Ports Training Institute  ( PTI ) at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and the Libya Trade Network.

Topics of the workshop

The topics of the workshop focused on modern trends in developing maritime trade, in addition to digital transformation and how to deal with big data and smart systems related to port work. A group of Libyan port and maritime transport leaders participated in the workshop.

The officials of the Libya Trade Network praised the cooperation with the Ports Training Institute at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and expressed their happiness to implement such important workshops to serve the ports and maritime trade sector in Libya.

The workshop resulted in several important recommendations

The use of digital technologies to support and facilitate the movement of Shipping, with the need to focus on the use of artificial intelligence technology” AI ” to monitor the movement of goods, as well as blockchain technologies, the use of smart contract systems, and the automation of logistical procedures.
