Italian shipyard Azimut built the 26.78 m motor yacht Grande 27M, using lightweight carbon fiber to enhance stability and maximize interior space, which they delivered in 2025. 

The famous Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo is the owner of one of the most prominent Azimut Grande 27 M yachts. He chose the name CG Mare for his yacht, which is a combination of the initials of his name and his partner Georgina, plus the word "Mare", which means "sea" in Italian. He purchased and took delivery of the yacht in the summer of 2020. Its value is estimated at around 7.2 million USD (approximately 5.5 million EUR).  It is noteworthy that Italian shipyard Azimut built the 26.78 m motor yacht Grande 27M, using lightweight carbon fiber to enhance stability and maximize interior space, which they delivered in 2025. She is one of 99 Grande 27M yachts. She boasts a top speed of 28.0 knots, a cruising speed of 24.0 knots, and a maximum cruising range of 800.0 nautical miles at 12.0 knots, powered by two MAN diesel engines. Up to eight guests can be accommodated in four staterooms, with three crew members on hand to cater to their every need. With a gross tonnage of 145.0 GT and a 6.59 m beam, she has a teak deck, a GRP hull, and a carbon-fibre and GRP superstructure.

.The Azimut's salon 

The Azimut's salon is situated on a single level, with the lounge located towards the aft and the dining table positioned towards the forward section. The galley is elegantly concealed, in accordance with the superyacht design paradigm. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows flank the salon, and doors to the side and aft decks create the all-important flow between the inside and outside social spaces.

The main deck Owner’s suite

The main deck Owner’s suite takes spectacular windows to another level, with two massive glass sections that actually push outwards for added wow factor. A first-class vantage point is provided by a private lounge positioned by a single window.

The 27 Grand Metri's design also includes a raised, professional-style helm station, which is typical of a pilothouse. A small stairwell gives access to the piloting deck. This is where the Captain will pilot the yacht on longer journeys. There is space for guests to gather. To the aft of the yacht, there are crew quarters. These are divided into three berths. This includes a small double bed. There are also toilet facilities.

The Azimut decks 

The Azimut decks are somewhat more straightforward than the interior, but no less impressive for it. The principal deck at the stern is designated for dining, with a diminutive wet bar to ensure an uninterrupted supply of chilled beverages. At the stern, a commodious tender garage facilitates effortless launch and retrieval via a hydraulic swim platform.

The flybridge is a bona fide upper deck, replete with a lounge and dining area, accompanied by a capacious bar and barbecue area, catering to guests. It's the perfect place to spend days and nights, and the hardtop and sunroof create a real sense of privacy and seclusion.
