CMA CGM announced enhancements to its intermodal rail services connecting Adriatic ports with Central Europe.The company will increase rail frequency from 10 to 16 weekly departures as part of its effort to strengthen connections between its maritime services PHOENICIAN EXPRESS, BMS and MAESTRALE.
.“Connecting Adriatic” initiative
The upgraded network will link the ports of Rijeka, Koper and Trieste with key destinations including Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria.Transit times will be two days to Budapest and Dunajska Streda, and three days to Prague. The Phoenician Express offers direct access from Asia to Central Europe through Adriatic gateways.The company described the changes as part of its “Connecting Adriatic” initiative, effective November 2025.

- Origin Range: From Mediterranean main ports
- Destination range: To all Middle East & Red Sea base ports

- Date of application: December 1st, 2025 (date of loading in the origin ports)
