New Miami and Port Canaveral Sailings Now Open as Carnival Continues Unveiling 2027/28 Deployment Plans

 A series of Caribbean cruises

Fun is on the move for Carnival Venezia, with the new homeport of Miami beginning May 2027. The move will follow a seasonal program from Port Canaveral. From Miami, the ship will sail a series of six- and eight-day Caribbean cruises, giving guests enhanced variety and convenient schedules through April 2028. Six-day western Caribbean voyages feature stops at Carnival’s new exclusive destination Celebration Key; as well as calls in popular ports such as Ocho Rios or Montego Bay in Jamaica and Grand Cayman; Grand Turk and Amber Cove. Eight-day cruises feature several other marquee Caribbean destinations such as Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao and Amber Cove.

Carnival Magic 

Carnival Magic a Dream-class ship will continue homeporting in Miami and expand her program with a variety of six- and eight-day cruises across the Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean. A wide variety of itineraries features visits to exclusive destinations Celebration Key; Amber Cove; Relax Away, Half Moon Cay, as well as Grand Turk; San Juan; St. Maarten, St. Thomas and St. Croix. Southern Caribbean voyages feature calls in Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao. Guests enjoy diverse dining options on board, such as Guy's Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, and the Cucina del Capitano, along with RedFrog Pub and Alchemy Bar.

Carnival Vista brings expanded options to Port Canaveral 

Carnival Vista brings expanded options to Port Canaveral with a variety of week-long itineraries exploring The Bahamas as well as the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Carnival Vista’s year-round program from Port Canaveral will offer a wide range of options featuring a mix of popular destinations including Celebration Key; Relax    Away, Half Moon Cay and Isla Tropicale as well as Montego Bay; Grand Cayman; San Juan; St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

The nearly 4,000-guest Carnival Vista’s offerings include activities for recreation, like SkyRide and WaterWorks water park, as well as relaxation, including Serenity Retreat, along with a variety of dining options and family-friendly accommodations, such as Family Harbor staterooms.

Repositioning voyages to South America

After completing a final cruise from the Los Angeles area in early January, the 2021-built ship embarks on a series of repositioning voyages to South America. The 14- to 16-night itineraries sail to destinations in Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. After debuting in Florida, the vessel is scheduled to arrive in Miami for a spring season starting in late February. Sailing in the region for the first time, the Firenze offers a series of four- to 13-night cruises to the Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean and the Bahamas. The deployment runs through mid-May, when the 4,232-guest ship is set to reposition to New York City for the summer.

While itineraries are still to be announced, the vessel is expected to offer cruises to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Bermuda and Canada. After several years sailing from New York City and Port Canaveral, the Carnival Venezia is also on the move in 2027.Upon completing a winter season sailing from its Central Florida homeport, the 2019-built ship is set to reposition to Miami. The Venezia kicks off a year-round deployment from the port in late May, starting a series of six- and eight-night cruises to the Western, Southern and Eastern Caribbean.
Originally built for Costa Cruises, the Carnival Firenze and the Carnival Venezia were transferred to Carnival Cruise Line in 2023 and 2024, respectively. With a design similar to the company’s Vista-class ships, the vessels offer interiors inspired by the Italian cities of Florence and Venice
