The Executive Directorate of Petrobras approved, on this fourth day (8/4), the neutralization of the effects of the differential price of petroleum gas (LPG) carried out by the company on 31/3/2026. The decision, supported by economic and risk analyses, takes into account the exceptionality of the current marketing context, due to the conflict in the Middle East. Also consider the statements of control and regulatory bodies, such as ANP and the National Consumer Secretariat (Senacon).
Petrobras will therefore return to clients the values reflecting the difference between the Import Parity Price (PPI) disclosed by ANP for the period from March 23 to 27 and the releases made by the distributors participating in the contest. The company guarantees the delivery of all the contracted volumes without delay, maintaining the predictability and security of the national supply.

Additionally, Petrobras is analyzing its formal application for access to the government subsidy program for imported LPG, established under Provisional Measure No. 1,349. If it is confirmed to the company's management and it is observed that the volumes collected are not reached by the program, Petrobras will also return to clients the values supported by the subsidy.
