MACN has signed a new Memorandum of Agreement with SEKOLAH TINGGI ILMU PELAYARAN (STIP) JAKARTA, deepening our joint commitment to equip the Next Generation of Seafarers with the skills and confidence to uphold integrity throughout their careers.
This collaboration builds on our recent Training‑of‑Trainers program, opened with the participation of Indonesia’s Director General of Sea Transportation, Muhammad Masyhud, and marks an important step in expanding practical anti‑corruption learning in one of the region’s most influential maritime academies.

At the statement of MACN, noted " we believe that integrity begins with people. By working together with STIP’s leadership and faculty, we are investing in future officers who will shape safer, more transparent, and more predictable port operations across Indonesia and beyond.
Adding the statement : We look forward to continuing this partnership and supporting the next generation of maritime professionals as they build an industry where ethical conduct is the standard, not the exception.
On the other hand the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) visited at EAST-PORTSAID port.in Egypt to walk them through the practical steps taken to enhance transparency and strengthen integrity in line with the highest national and international standards. Their field tour across port facilities and terminals allowed them to witness firsthand how these measures are effectively applied on the ground.
It noteworthy that East Port Said (EPS) port is a major, high-efficiency container hub and industrial zone in Egypt, located at the eastern entrance of the Suez Canal on the Mediterranean Sea. Recognized for its deep-water facilities, it serves as a top-ranked, strategic global transshipment point for international trade. East Port Said port affiliated to Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCEZ) ranked third place globally and first regionally in containers port performance indicator (CPPI) for the year 2024 issued by the World Bank, thus assuring the port’s status being one of the fastest developed and most efficient ports all over the world.
