Emanuele Lauro's company has entered into agreements to purchase four new vessels: two LR2 product tankers equipped with scrubbers and two VLCCs (Very Large Crude Carriers) equipped with scrubbers. 

Scorpio Tankers Inc. (NYSE: STNG) (“Scorpio Tankers,” or the “Company”) announced that it had entered into agreements to sell three product tankers and purchase four new vessels. The Wall Street-listed shipping company has reached agreements to sell three product tankers. The *STI Dama  (IMO 9686716, MMSI 538005173 - sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands.) is a 2014-built MR tanker. It is equipped with scrubbers. It will be sold for $37.5 million. The STI Élysées (IMO 9688829, MMSI 538005384 - sailing under the flag of the Marshall Islands. ) is an LR2 tanker built in 2014. It is also equipped with scrubbers. The STI Veneto (IMO 9690822, MMSI 538005389) - is a 2015-built LR2 tanker and will be sold for $70.0 million.  Both sales are expected to be finalised by the end of 2026

Vessel Sales

Furthermore, Emanuele Lauro's company has entered into agreements to purchase four new vessels: two LR2 product tankers equipped with scrubbers and two VLCCs (Very Large Crude Carriers) equipped with scrubbers. The LR2 vessels are to be built at the Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. shipyard in China at a cost of $72.8 million each, with delivery scheduled for October–November 2029. Meanwhile, the VLCCs are to be built at the Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) Co., Ltd. shipyard, also in China, for $135 million each. They are scheduled for delivery between September and October 2028.
