Fincantieri announced that it has signed a contract with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd — joint owner and operator of Four Seasons Yachts — for the construction of a third ultra-luxury cruise ship. This latest move is a key step in consolidating the long-standing partnership between the two companies and further solidifies Fincantieri's position as a leader in the high-end hospitality sector. Subject to financing and other standard terms and conditions for contracts of this type, the value of the agreement is estimated to be between €500 million and €1 billion.
The new vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2031. It is the third in a new class of ultra-luxury cruise ships designed and built by Fincantieri at its Ancona shipyard. This order highlights the success of a pioneering programme that is redefining the concept of hospitality at sea. Following the successful delivery earlier this year of Four Seasons I — the first ship designed according to Fincantieri’s 'Navis Sapiens' vision — and with a second ship currently under construction and due to enter service in early 2028, this new order further strengthens the long-standing partnership between Fincantieri and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd, reflecting the increasing demand for highly personalised luxury travel experiences.

Retention of the same residential-style "all-suite" concept that characterises the class's first vessel is a feature of the new ship. Measuring 207 metres in length with a gross tonnage of around 34,000 tonnes, the ship will feature suites designed to maximise guests' connection to the ocean, with spacious terraces and outdoor areas.
Pierroberto Folgiero, CEO and Managing Director of Fincantieri, stated: 'This new order marks another significant step in the development of our partnership with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd., a company that has become a benchmark for innovation in luxury hospitality at sea.' The decision to expand the fleet with a third ship demonstrates a long-term industrial vision and confirms the market's appreciation of a concept that successfully combines luxury hospitality with advanced shipbuilding to create a new segment. Designed and built at our Ancona shipyard, the vessel will further reinforce the site's role as a Fincantieri centre of excellence for ultra-luxury ship construction — a place where innovation, craftsmanship and industrial expertise converge to deliver the highest standards of quality and sophistication.”
