Five additional LNG shipments will be added to those missed by the Adriatic LNG regasification terminal in Rovigo since the start of the conflict involving the US, Israel and Iran. Staffetta Quotidiana reported this, citing a communication sent by QatarEnergy to Edison in which the producer announced an extension to the force majeure status on deliveries until the end of November. This brings the total number of LNG deliveries missed by the offshore facility near Rovigo to 29.

Qatar's LNG exports have fallen by 96%

It is six months since the conflict began. According to Reuters, Qatar's LNG exports have fallen by 96% because of attacks on the country's refining facilities and transport tankers. During the same period in 2025, 509 shipments passed through, but only 18 have done so this year. As a result, the emirate has become one of the war's primary economic victims. To date, losses amount to $24 billion in foregone revenue — equivalent to the GDP the country typically generates over five months.
